Bird Walk at Carriage Hill Metro Park
Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 9am

Please join Wild Birds Unlimited and Five Rivers MetroPark for a FREE morning bird walk at Carriage Hill with Park Manager and local bird enthusiast, Ron Bicknell. The walk is just under a mile and will cover prairie, wetland, and lake habitats walking the red trail loop.

Space is limited to 15 participants and spots are filling up quickly. Please call or visit our store to sign up.

Bluebird Early Bird Talk!

Kettering: Tuesday 3/18 @ 9am - 937-299-1102

Come and hear our very own local Bluebird expert, John Wagner, give a presentation on everything you would like to know about Eastern Bluebirds! John volunteers at the local Metroparks to set up and maintain Bluebird houses and has also helped raise many broods over the years in his own backyard! Seating is limited, so please reserve a seat with an employee in-store or over the phone.

We will be serving coffee and a breakfast treat. There will also be a coupon for everyone that attends.

Earth Day Recycling Event
4/17/25 thru 4/22/25 (Earth Day!)

We are proud to continue our partnership with the Cincinnati Recycling and Reuse Hub to recycle our WBU seed bags! We searched for years for a way to recycle our bags and are thrilled to have finally found a solution. Cincinnati Reuse and Recycling Hub takes our bags and send them to NexTrex to be repurposed into various composite products such as decking.

Thanks to your help, WBU in Kettering and Huber Heights recycled over 2100 pounds of plastic in 2024!
We've set a goal for 2025 to supass 2500 pounds of recycled plastic, and we will need your help!

Join us in celebrating our partnership by bringing your seed bags in to be recycled!
